As some of you may know i had to call an ambulance out for Elaine due to severe breathing difficulties on Saturday morning, happy to say that she is now home and recovering. But to get to the point of this post i CANNOT fault the treatment she received at the hands of the girls in the ambulance or the care and treatment she received at Ashford so thank you.

sorry to hear that tom glad to hear elaine is now home, the paramedics are always top drawer - part of the health service that rarely fails to deliver.
Im really glad that everything turned out ok for you both . I have several friends that work in A nd E and CDU in Ashford . I hope that Elaine continues to recover

Brilliant Guzzler !
Great news Guzzler - I am sorry you had troubles, but it is fab that your treatment, both of you, was good. Paramedics are almost universally brilliant, ditto A&E. It is really good to hear the same about the ward based staff too. Nice one.

Thank you everyone for all your good wishes both on here and face book, feeling a lot better now, it was an allergic reaction to the products used by council contractors for cleaning the soffits and fascias, and the window frames god knows what it was but it was a nasty result, also an unknown about spleen problem cropped up so will have to have more CT and MRI scans hey ho it never rains but it pours, still it can only get better.

Humphy, so pleased to hear that you are okay and back home again, that must have scared both yourgoodself and Guzzler. Its great to hear that you were so well looked after too
You just don't know what they put into some of those cleaning agents these days, obviously you will be giving them a very wide berth as in NOT ever touching them again and of course finding out what exactly it was. Sorry to hear about the surprise spleen problem but at least it was spotted and can now be investigated. As you say it can now only get better. love and xxxx from us all here

Vic is the best one to talk to about Spleen problems; he's the chairman of the Spleen Association (or whatever it's called) and has a lot of personal (family) experience.
Good Luck Elaine
