I did Reg, Military Action is synonymous with war in my book. The motion, had it passed, would not have launched Military Action either - if you want to play semantics, read the motion that was before Parliament, which, in summary, condemmed Chemical Weapon usage in Syria and called for another Parliamentary vote after the UN Security Council had examined the evidence and made a decision.
In the 21st Century, the UK Parliament voted not to condemn the use of Chemical Weapons in Syria and not to step up the humantiarian effort. What's good or principled about that?
