Any help with this please, not much to go on because I only got an impression of its posture and colour and it had gone by the time I got my camera out. Anyway, the bird was perched on the washing-line pole yesterday afternoon before dusk. Grey head, brown wings, cream/light brown front. Thought it was a thrush at first but taller than that, upright and not as plump as say a pigeon.
