  WILDLIFE ORIENTEERING ON WHINLESS DOWN

  20th august.
  
  2 pm. An orienteering taster day. Orienteering is a sport where you navigate your way around control points marked on a specially drawn map. Using the orienteering course at Whinless Down, we will also find out about some of the nature that can be found there by searching for the pictures attached to the posts. Complete the answer sheet to receive a small wildlife booklet donated by the BBC Breathing places.
  
  Please wear suitable footwear for walking on uneven ground. Suggested donation of £2 appreciated.

  Would love to be there but got other opointment,s that afternoon i like orienteering it is a good sport

  i didn't even know we had a course at whinless down, sounds like it could be good fun and not too tiring if it is a hot day.
