I am sure this topic has been on before but I missed it, my apologies.
I am against nuclear power stations for the simple reasons of safety (accidents), pollution and terrorism reasons.
I am for wind farms but I do understand that they are somewhat inefficient due to uncertainty of wind measures. What I cannot understand is why they don't change sails for rudders and have the tides produce the power.
Tides are constant, almost 90% year in year out. Wind is an unknown quantity? I am sure there is a clever reason but I can't work it out?
