Unfortunately many people have been brainwashed by watching too many wildlife documentaries fortelling of mass extinction, man to blame, coal is bad, green is good, hippies caring people, those in suits evil, planet in peril hogwash.
  Gullibility knows no bounds.
  Try talking to anyone who thinks wind farms are a good idea till you're blue in the face but they steadfastly refuse to open their eyes to the economics.
  It's as if they're stuck in a train of thought that only therapy can break them out of.
  "Something must be done to save us all".
  "Scientists say they're a good thing so they must be good".
  Etc, etc. such is the cult of green.
