  The Dover Alliance is an alliance of independent candidates who are standing for Dover. On our election flyers you will not see huge statements about national politics with obscure implications that the candidate will pop up to Westminster in their spare time to sort out the national government. Our concern is for this town and the well being of its residents.
  
  As a party we provide support for independent candidates who wish to work for Dover (the clue is in the name). In our early years we may have made some poor choices of candidates but that has been sorted and we do not discriminate on political leanings.
  
  Kieth, we have had this debate before, there are more views to politics than just red or blue.
  
  David has chosen to move in another direction, and we wish him well just as we would a member that wanted to move into Labour or any other party. All we ask is that as an Alliance member you do not belong to another party. We do not whip our members or expect them to follow a party line, their votes are their own for how they best see the towns interests.
