  Have to agree. The forum has become somewhat of a 'link" site of late. No offence meant Howard and Brian but some things can be summarised then offer a link if people want to read more.

  good point helen i used to copy bits out of a story and people would say that i was cherry picking so giving a precis and a link may work better.

  I also agree, if there is nothing to say what a link is about I no longer bother to open it.
