    Yes we have put our room prices up this week. With the Swingate charging £400 and the Hog and Donkey £795 for a double room per night we would be stupid not to. It's no more profiteering than workers accepting double or triple time for Christmas shifts.

    And how good is it for the local economy if people sell for £50 something guests are happy to pay £400 for?
