A rescent visit to this small seaside town makes me question how they get it right and we get it so wrong. The town was packed, small independent shops buzzing with customers.
We parked in the school grounds, donations made to charity, they also provded maps and information.
Why hasn't Dover got a maritime museum?

whitstable is dripping with moneyed people who have a short commute into work and dosh to spend when they come home.
i believe that ramsgate has an excellent maritime museum that scoops up anything interesting locally.

Good point Howard, but I guess we will be in the same position when all the new homes are built in the distict which are apparently going to attract all those commuters to our sunny cliff top!
