according to some traffic reports there has been a lorry that shed its load in the area causing mayhem.maybe a whitfied forumite might be able to confirm this with hopefully with a picture or two.

The road was clear and I couldn't see anything when I drove through at 8.20am.

Inside lane off the Whitfield roundabout towards Melbourne Avenue was closed off around 10 this morning with workers there, I couldn't see what they were doing.

My driver comes in from Deal at about 6.40am and he said there were two cars on the crash barrier on the A2. He said there wre police there too.

a strange one then,according to local radio the a2 had a lorry shedding a load.
