Can't vouch for the accuracy of this Folkestone-based YouTube cove but if he is to be believed we are looking at another four inches of snow here by Xmas Eve and as much as ten inches in hillier areas. Plus a few showers on the big day itself.
If you're going somewhere for Xmas, it might pay to travel sooner rather than later...

21:4486117Being an Aussie i have never had a white Xmas so it would be nice if it snowed Xmas day
But after that I will have had enough of the snow for the next 12 months and would rather seem some evidence of global warming as i can't cope with the cold weather for long

07:3986287Accordong to the forecast on Tuesday evening I believe it was, we were to have a few inches of snow Thursday afternoon & evening so I wasn't looking forward to a trip to Gatwick Airport to pick an important member of the family up; the travel news also said that it was to be a very busy time on the roads with people getting away, so the image of being snowbound on the M25 was not a happy one.
A bit of drizzle and very few cars, made it a very quick journey (both ways) and no hold-ups anywhere, so very pleased with that.
I didn't know we were forecast snow today - hope there's just enough for you Trevor and then it goes away.
Merry Christmas everyone, hope you have the time to get everything you need and want.

08:2286296Cold and windy here with only a 2-1 chance of a white Christmas. The island grinds to a halt with even the smallest amount of snow as they very rarely get snow...but since I arrived this is the second winter where heavy snow has fallen...bloody thing follows me around...

08:5786307The first time I went to work in Jersey (about November 1980 I think), I was told it never snows there, but it did then and deep too. The whole island came to stand-still.
Follows both of us then.
