If you Google the registration (KM by the way not JM) you'll find it's been noted as being nefarious in other places.
So much for ANPR.

Thanks Terry a typo

, I have changed it.
Obviously not high on anyone's priority list to be caught, I wonder if the Thames floods have driven them to "work" in this area.

The registration has even been noted in Holland as being driven by 'gypsies' (not my choice of word) door knocking for building work.

not very subtle or they simply don't care as they don't expect to get caught and/or punished.

We all get finger trouble Jan!
Going on from my comment about ANPR, how often do we see on the box a feature on the old bill where they are following a car and the on board computer or a road side camera picks up a number plate as being "sus" and they pull the car over.
Given that this vehicle had been involved before and was "known" and that there are ANPR cameras in Dover, how was it allowed to go unchallenged by police?
I think we all know the answer (wrong priorities) but I think we should be told.

They would probably be more interested if the tax disc was out of date or it was an uninsured vehicle.
