I cant find the original thread .I was unable to attend as I have been very poorly with a tummy bug .I have had to cancel several engagements I see DDC were well represented so there was no need to drag myself out of bed .

I recently had a bug? that made me feel awful as if I had mild flu but nothing appeared, very strange.

Thank you Bern .My daught in Law is unwell and Im unable to help with the baby .The cat does not help with the washing and looking after me .I have been very busy of late so this bug has taken a grip.

Just read your post Jan .This is a full blown tummy bug .No need to describe .Just a lot of washing .Cat not able to help

Sorry to hear you are poorly Sue, hope the bugs/virus leaves you soon.
It can take a while to feel your old self (less of the old I hear you say) again.
As you say, DDC was well represented by Nigel and Kit and Jon Iveson. I know I've said it on another thread, but I was very disappointed not to have been invited - too late now of course, so not to worry.

Brian I feel sick .Roger regardless of what Keith says I get no say to who goes to what .Sometime Im asked to take a guest however not on this occassion.DDC were well represented doubt if I could have added value to the speeches seems several were made .I have a theory leave them wanting more .
