    i remember a council "oop norf" stopping their staff addressing callers as "love".

    when i used to ring people north of the watford gap i really liked the familiarity of the female persons that spoke thus.

    i find that women addressing men as love is being friendly, however men calling women love as patronising.

    i am not the slightest bit politically correct, just how i see it.
