  Today we have another example of the contempt that the tory party holds the public in. I am of course referring to the statement by the proposed new member of the house of lords Howard Flight.
  Mr Flights expressed the opinion that half of the population, (the middle class) would benefit from benefits, namely that it would put a brake on there breeding. where as the working class would collect there benefits and retire to there burrows for an excess of hanky panky??? (I know which class I would prefer to be in given half a chance, a burrow has a certain appeal) David Cameron was quick to disassociate himself from the opinion expressed, to his credit. However it does highlight an on going tory mind set that we are still a nation of class, and in there opinion thet the tories are the upper class.
