Thanks for your concern Lesley; I've just returned from 2 weeks in America.
I needed a break and it was my Aunt's 90th. Birthday, so I thought it'd be a good idea to go and wish her a happy birthday.
She lives in a suburb of Phildelphia but I stayed with my cousin in New Jersey.
We (my cousin and I) went down to Memphis and visited Gracelands (amazing) and Sun-Studios (very enjoyable and interesting) and some other sites related to music, also spent time soaking up the atmosphere in Beale Street where the bars had live bands playing Blues, jazz and Rock 'n Roll - I loved it.
Memphis is a definite recommendation for anyone who loves the early years of Rock 'n Roll, Elvis and the Blues.
Roger
