3 Market Square was in a terrible state, so in 1966 the partners of Worsfolds demolished it and rebuilt this building which was still owned by one if the former partners until about 8 years ago. It was hitech at the time with a passenger lift, double glazing and underfloor heating. The office used ground and first floor and the two resident partners had lovely big offices overlooking the market square. CMS is a long standing tenant and more recently Pitman Training moved in.
The facade could do with a bit of work now, but generally it always was well looked after. It is such a shame that the money shop moved in. We were trying to get the VIC in there at one stage which would have been far better for the market square
