    getting back to the viaduct, nowadays we see them as great examples of victorian architecture but back then they would have seen them as modern monstrosities so why did they build this pleasant set of houses in their shadow?

    i took this one outside a front door to give an idea of what they look out at every day, note the satellite dishes.
