The year now draws to a close and I have started to wonder what happened to long term contributors that haven't posted this year as far as I can remember. Mark Robson, Jeane, DT1, John Buckley, Roger Walkden has posted a couple of times but not much more.

Busy elsewhere (or on Facebook!) - Mark was certainly busy serving me pints a few days ago..

Just info for newer members Mark opened a micropub in Deal the Just Reproach a few years back and it has been a great success from the beginning. At the time most of us didn't even understand the concept. As with many towns Dover now has a fair few - Mash Tun, Lanes, Arlington. Rack of Ale and various others that I cannot remember off the top of my head.

I'm still here, Howard! I do read what's going on but don't have the time to 'get involved' at the moment.

Funny you mention Lesley Howard, I was thinking about her today as I haven't seen her for ages. If you're looking in Lesley I hope all is well with you.
Roger and Jeane were always interesting too. Remember lots of the old members - those were the days

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

A shame so many who used to post no longer do, some like Roger provided information or help.

Roger has been globe trotting for over two years but doesn't get involved with much locally when he is here.
Two more Kath Hollingsbee with those interesting old newspaper stories and John Mavin with his great photographs of maritime and other activities.
