 - Sue, Brian has commented, Alec seldom comments and the only Ian, whose surname started with L, I can think of at the moment died years ago, he was a lovely man, Pablo is moving or even moved by now so is busy. - -----------------------------------------------------------------------

 - I am still here Jan, read a lot but seldom post as you say. Must try harder, got a question for you knowing that you are a Morrison's customer. Some one told me years ago that Morrisons had a machine that changed all your small change into banknotes, do you know if it is still there?. I must have about £50 of change floating about.

Ian Lilford was, or maybe still is, the river clean up man. A lovely man who worked hard cleaning up the river, I think his house backed on to it. Another one who disappeared was "Spiderkins" Syd Perkins.

 - I last saw Ian about a year ago, or maybe more, time passes quickly when you're ancient! I'm sure I would have heard about his demise or Guzzler would have told me, I see him often.

Yes Alec, Morrisons do have a "change converter".

 - My apologises to Ian for giving him a far too early demise, I must have confused him with someone else. - -----------------------------------------------------------------------

 - I'm heading off down the ditch.

Towards Birmingham, then Stratford and Oxford and on to the Thames.

 I may be some time.
