  Roger I think you'll find Cameron described UKIP as racists and fruitcakes.
  
  Both major parties are in a complete tailspin over immigration, words like that from Cameron simply alienate his core support as you point out. I argued with Tom the other day because he introduced racism into a debate when the topic was nothing to do with it.
  
  Its been very easy for the left, as soon as they are losing an argument, to accuse the opposition of racism, but its all worn very thin. I agree with your sentiment entirely.
