  As much as it pains me to say it. If it was unstable which i don't think that it is. An idea would be bring it down and widen the entrance that goes up towards Tower Hamlets. The bottle neck that a curse during certain times of the day especially when schools are coming out plus normal traffic including lorries and buses. Whether you are going up or coming down that way is a nightmare. If it were to be widened at that point of the Eagle traffic coming down could could come over sliding onto the London Road rather than the bottleneck that's at the moment.
  I would just say that to have it used for something rather than to tear it down would be better but maybe an idea that may ease that pressure through the day
