After seeing him on the TV saying that he did not think the 800beds on offer from France for a operation in one of their hospitals is needed because Dover is having a new hospital build at this time.
Does he not know that the hospital will have no beds and will not do any operations he went on to say that he did not think that a person needing a operation should go on a ferry because of bad weather AS he not heard yet we do now have a tunnel that can take you there.
I am sorry for talking like this and this post should not be moved because it is not a party thing.
But it makes my blood boil to this kind of rubbish from him.
How can anyone vote him back in after talking in this manner.
What Dover is getting is a lot better then we have now but it is not a full up and running hospital as all know.
We should be thanking them for that offer and follow that up by sending us over there for any operation that is needed by the public that are on a very long waiting list.
I have been in that hospital over there when taken ill when working on the ships years ago I was well cared for till they could get me back some days after.

first i have heard of this one, maybe charlie's nose was put out of joint?
the new hospital looks like being a winner for dover but chas knows very well that surgery is not included.
incidentally i got wind of a meeting at st mary's parish hall yesterday where someone from the health trust outlined all that would be available at the new hospital.

vic,not only Charlie but loads of other mp's from kent are making the same noise.rather pathetic I say.
and besides that if I had a choice of having an op within a couple of weeks or being fobbed off by the nhs and waiting years for the op I know what I would do.

My lap top is playing up again.
I wrote both of us went to that meeting they told us what we were getting when it opens .
I did tell you it was coming up with times etc so anyone over 60 could have gone.
