  Hi Ernie - everyone else has already said it, but welcome to the forum. I was a newcomer not so long ago, and it's good to have new blood and some fresh views, particularly, it seems, as like me you would like to emphasise the positive. You asked some very good questions and made some very good points. As with Paul's thread about what people would do if they could make a fresh start with Dover, it didn't take long for forumites to start listing the things they don't like! What was particularly interesting were the comments by some who said "I never run Dover down when talking to visitors." So does that mean that visitors and potential visitors don't read the forum? Because you are running the town down on here virtually all the time, and the whole world can read it. Come on, let's be more positive. Let's see what WE can do to make the place better.
