You ask us a question, but my question is "What do you think should be done to save one or both of them?"
Simon Finlay I know runs a very tight ship at the Express, and I am sure that he will not just give up lightly.
I also know Graham and the team at the DM are a super team to.
Unfortunatly for the DM & DE there are also other publications very close to Dover like Messenger, and Folkestone Herald covering Deal and Sandwich& Folkestone respectivly perhaps a solution would be to lose one of those publications and then combine the news from across the areas into one publictaion, if it is about cost of production.
