    # 99 David doesn't behave like this in our meetings Jan. Maybe he would if he didn't have DF to vent his frustrations on!? If you boil it down, his beef is that to the ordinary person in Dover the council (and therefore the Councillors) have done nothing and produced nothing. This is not actually the case and we must respect that there are commercial sensitivities surrounding many of the aspects of the work that is going on behind the scenes. David and Paul have the privilege of looking out over a derelict site that month on month has nothing happen on it. Yet we know that things are happening in the background.

Communication from the council about what is happening and snippets of what can be told would keep people like David in their cages. Sadly this is too simple for them to deal with at the moment, so we will have to enjoy some more of David with his tail up, for a bit longer yet I guess!

I am not sure I should speak for the Town Team on Alex's utopian view of Dover's salvation at this stage. However if you Alex, would like to put a fully costed proposal to the Town Team to consider whether or not they are the right agency to get involved with delivery of such an enormous project, we would be delighted to read it. Initially, it strikes me that it would take significant investment and marketing to stop people from buying their clothes and shoes over the internet.

God forbid anyone should get of their backside and go to a shop or a market and buy something original and interesting
    !
