Firstly David I;m not in a political party and obviously have leanings towards one party if the were to get there ars* in gear
that said, like yourself I have been, and still am involved in a number of community projects all that could be sais are the job of the casj strapped councils, but none the less as a volunteer I have over the years just got on and done it, as I do today.
Thankfully I don't have to answer to you(nor would I )
But the planning dept has a major influence on what may/may not happen in Dover, of course there are others, and as suggested in within this and other threads a number of groups are working for the good of Dover.
Now you could just continue to put down all politicians, which is your right,
but i'v found by trying to embrace people(even in these frustrating times) is a better way, and you get more out of people.
