I was over in Canterbury several times recently and it is truly a very attractive place. I took a few pictures the other day, sadly I dont have one of the WestGate in question but cant resist putting the following one up. I really dont know much about Canterbury at all...this one taken from the bridge under the shadow of the new Marlowe theatre. Not sure if it's a canal or a river but here we go anyway.
Now that is a very English scene, almost painterly. Lots of little boats were being rowed by.. all with tourists on board.
