Council staff can't access the forum from DDC machines Howard, I have tried from the Gateway PCs when our broadband has been down, it seems all networking sites are banned by their servers.

Yes I am sure that's true Terry but it's denied to the rank and file.

not really surprising the system must be burnt out with e mails about the bins.
forget trying to ring them, the voicemails cannot take any more.

couldn't agree more martin, there is enough work needed up there to keep a work gang going for ages, they might get satisfasction out of it and develop a work ethic too.
as things stand it is down to volunteers to do the best they can and the council to deal with flytipping.

One of the residents of High Meadow flats was doing his bit on Thursday and Friday collecting rubbish from the path up to High Meadow. He does this on a regular basis and collects several sacks full.

whilst he is to be commended the danger is that the authorities will take it off their to do list.
that is assuming they already do some cleaning there.

I've written to the Director again about this, but the thread is called Western Close - is that the actual name of the road where it is ?

not sure if it comes under north military hill or citadel road but has been dumped so they could not be seen doing it by residents of western close(nearest) or knights templar.
