Again well done she has done alot of work in geting a great outside Gym at Capel. And she knows That I have been trying over the pass 3 years to get some put in Dover ,She aske me to go and see her which I did,and she was on about trying to get one in the port and could I help, but I let her down because at that time I was trying to get one in each of the parish councils I was on,But reading in the Dover Express she did not need my help looks like she as done it all on her own and looking in beween the lines it might be the best one going to ,the Equipment they might get is the very latest one which as you use it ,the equipment will create electricty and would power the lighting for the site on a dark night, this gear can be used for all ages from 8 to 88years old I am still trying to get the council I am on to get a outside gym. This why I packed up all the other councils I was not geting anywhere with it,its sad realy because they would not go along with my plans because it was put up by me,and as I am not liked I could not get anywhere with any of my plans for the parish but all that is in the pass now .But just happy that Dover will have one ,but I still hope there will be more. Also on my list this cricket I still have all the plans that I had drawen up for match pitches at River and lydden and Whiltfield + nets aswell but sorry to say it will never happen because again put up by myself. But if anyone can help me please come and see me look at all the plans .

They can be put anywhere they do not need alot of room any playing field or reg/ground like River but not to far away from a build up area. costs it comes in many ,a starter one could cost about £5000. pounds up wards what you see above is one of the very best that you can buy ,you can buy them from companys overseas they do not cost so much and come up to the UK standards you can buy them out right or build them as you go along. The good thing about it all there is still lots of funds up and running to help any council get one.Thank you for asking,I have all the costs etc of both the UKbuild ones and the overseas one and all the photos that come with them and the lieouts of them.

assuming the capel top of the range one costs around 10 - 15 thousand, not really a lot of money even in cash strapped times.
local authorities are now involved in the health side of us since changes were made by central government.
would be a good investment in a central location like pencester gardens and looks very low maintenance.

I wrote to Lynn about one in Connaught Park - I also mentioned about a car-park up there, on the left side which would then allow easier access for people and make the Park much more used.

You right Mr Mcsweeney you can have up to five years free maintenance then the cost is very low after that, also they come with a trainer for about a week who will help anyone who need it it is all +s with this one if only councils would take note and see all I have on them I have about six companys on my books .I hope that I can work with miss Brisley again ,she is the main player with this one.

I would love one of those outside gyms in Connaught Park, it would compliment the children's playground. The wish list is getting bigger but one has to aim high to achieve one's desired aspirations
Roger, car parking is obviously on the list, we all know how it would instantly increase the footfall in Connaught Park. I am up there most days & never fail to observe how many people I see from day to day even in these weather conditions. They are walking their dogs, children are in the playground or feeding nuts to the squirrels being watched by their grandparents/parents, teenage boys are kicking their ball around & many jogging or speed walking around the park. I see older people sitting on the benches taking in the air & enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Of course, these numbers multiply considerably in the Summer months.
There are quite a few parking spaces around the roads near to the park but a car park would be absolutely ideal. A lot of able bodied people will always just walk to the park, with fitness in mind. Connaught Park will always be a passion for many people so thankfully they will be there car park or no car park
