The downside of any town centre, the drunk. Four males sitting on this bench outside M&S at lunchtime, one talking loud, and a couple looking well pi..ed, one may not have been, were moved on by the young constable in the centre of picture. On upping and moving on, spitting all the way. A waste of life.

I saw him last weekend Howard, looking round the RR`s with a colleague, clearly enjoying it, but he was on the lookout all the time. As you say, it`s what we need at times.

Is "patch" a euphemism?

Hey! A kind word for a copper. Yeeha! (As a copper's mum I have been rather cheesed off about comments about Police made some time ago on the Forum).

PS "Patch" something this Forumite's son had constantly on his trousers during his school years due to his propensity for wrecking them on the first day of term!

A bit rowdy here, but when the camera is spotted, all becomes peaceful. I hope it helped to take the sting out of the situation for the officer. One of my reasons for favouring CCTV.

Maybe a better idea Humphy would be to make them watch his show. But then again, on second thought`s, no. Even I couldn`t be as cruel as that. Personally, I`d prefer a lethal injection. Certain members in the household have watched him over the years, hence, I am aware of what he`s about.
