What a shame. We have been carrying quite a lot of coaches with French schoolchildren on my ship and they were very well behaved onboard, contrary to their reputation. I wonder why English schoolchildren would set upon them?

I sincerely hope the Town Authorities will present to the French school the apologies of Dover's people for this incident.
The school where the perpetrators go should be informed and take all appropriate action.

A comment on that link is so true:
"And they will return to France with their tales of British thugs and uncontrolled violence, never to return. Doesn't matter if the thugs were British or even if they were other French children, the British and Dover will take the blame. So much for attracting tourists to the town."
Very sad.
