Is it me or has nothing been maintained this year every where you look it's overgrown, for example castle hill is beginning to resemble a jungle sprouting from verges in road along with lots of other areas around Deal and Dover I'm guessing there was no buget this year

think it is more due to the wet summer john, the white cliffs people have had to work like demons to keep paths clear - probably the same with the council.

If you find that brambles, overgrown tress and shrubs are hanging over the pavements, you can email Kent Highways (kent.highwayservices@kent.gov.uk) and they will contact the owners and get them to cut it back - if they don't with in a given time-frame, they'll do it and charge them.
