I'm with you Colin; I find that most forecasts now are not particularly accurate. The long range forecasts are usually way out and even a day or two before isn't to be relied upon. I regularly check them for all the cemetery open days I'm doing (should I wear Victorian mourning dress if we are having a heat wave, do I need a covered awning for my stall if it's raining etc.) I now tend to rely on my eyes and ears on the morning concerned!
