Can hear the rocks rolling down the beck here. Neighbours just had to be rescued from village in a pick-up due to flooded road.

Yet another disturbed night's sleep with bins etc crashing and rolling about. The cat has come in like the proverbial drowned rat and then happily rubbed up against my leg.
Sixties I hope you and your neighbours are OK with only the road ending up flooded .

Thank-you for your concern, Jan. All's well personally, but a lot of roads and bridges have been damaged and the wind's still blowing up here so no chance of getting out to the shops for a spot of panic buying before lockdown 2 kicks in. Might as well start hibernating now.

Keith, Mr Gove doesn’t have a clue what ‘getting his way’ might mean because he seems not to understand what Führer Boris tells him to do.
