  I would very much enjoy a presentation from the curators. If all the valuables are on display in the museum or the town hall I personally would be satisfied but if they are tucked away in boxes costing money to store and insure, that is another matter. Reserves should be working for the community and non-earning assets should be sold off and the proceeds invested in something capital-protected which will produce an income stream, not used to plug revenue deficits.
