  Where is the common sense in all this? I am ashamed to walk past those 2 pubs mentioned, especially with the kids or when visitors are around. I walked past the Albert this week and there was a woman sitting outside hissed as a carrot, swearing about nothing at all to her friend. in as loud a voice as possible. Cafe culture is great - I love it. i lived in Paris for a few months when young - it works and is lovely. but it can't work when we are too weak and half-arsed to address those who spoil it. Too often the bullies and the eejits take over and we don't stop them - where are the cops? Where is the sense? Anyone can see the difference between a drink and a chat outside under an umbrella, and the abusive and idiotic drunks who inhabit those seats meant for people with manners. It's not rocket science.
