69 bags of rubbish yesterday, also a bike, supermarket trolley, traffic cone, scooter, car exhaust, Lottery shop display stand...etc.... We cleared Buckland Mill, Barton Path, Halfords, Morrisons, Dour Street, Ladywell, K College and Pencester.
The core turnout is still very low though and there were only about nine of us. Fortunately a few chaps from Veolia came along to lend a hand or we couldn't have got that lot done. Holidays are partly to blame, but the lack of minibus to collect volunteers from Folkestone is really being felt.
And yes Charlie and his daughter turned up for an hour to lend a helping hand - thanks. And no, I'm afraid I don't have a photo before anyone asks!
