meet up at the car park in south military hill at 10.15 a.m.
although festive refreshments will be provided it is best to bring a packed lunch if you are staying all day.

the fire has a dual use, not only destroying the unwanted scrub but just as importantly for cooking the sausages that the volunteers will enjoy during a break.
they always taste better when you've been working in the open air.

Following Howards picture there of the fire I was able to check where the guys where with binoculars, I followed the smoke, saw them as distant dots but spotted them nonetheless.
