Affinity Water is a water supply company owned by a consortium of Allianz Group, HICL and DIF Tamblin.[2]
Affinity Water was established through the purchase of Veolia Water's UK water supply operations to Rift Acquisitions, an entity established by Morgan Stanley and M&G Investments, for £1.2 billion on 28 June 2012. The three separate Veolia Water-branded businesses: Veolia Water Central, Veolia Water Southeast and Veolia Water East were brought together as one company, under the Affinity Water brand on 1 October 2012.
Veolia Environnement retains a 10% stake in Affinity Water for at least five years from incorporation. Veolia Environnement is using the proceeds of the disposal to reduce its debt, as part of a €5bn debt-reduction programme announced in December 2011

The Council has awarded a 10-year contract to carry out recycling and waste collections, the processing of recyclate collected and street cleansing operations to Veolia Environmental Services (UK), which commenced in January 2011. The contract has been awarded in partnership with Shepway District Council and Kent County Council (as the disposal authority). Dover is the lead on this partnership and manages the client team who oversee the contract from the Dover District Council offices on behalf of the three authorities
Just some info above.
Why do Dover residents pay two water rates Southern and affinity and Deal residents only pay one water rate - making Dover pay hundreds per household more in water than Deal residents.
Why do we have to pay for garden waste to be taken away old people lot dont have cars or can pay this extra bill..
If only everyone could be kind and honest what a better world we would be in.

I don't know of anywhere else where the Water bill is spread over two companies but it doesn't mean we pay any more than other areas.

I pay Southern water for waste water and so on and affiniity £290 odd for them giving me water supply nearly £600 a year. Than Southern take the water (waste)I paid for clean it then sell on?? Deal residents pay one bill and not near what I have to pay.
