Thanks for the heads up. Yes old news yes and only just getting in the media but this was the first I heard of it. Ebay definitely never sent a message to say change your password.

Yes the hacking was 2 months ago but Ebay only announced it yesterday, still no message to customers and nothing on their home page. which is not really good enough.
