  They do like to use it as an opportunity to bring dogs in for their annual check-ups which I fully agree with, but they don't give you all the information to make an informed choice about whether to have the booster or not, or what is put in it apart from the actual vaccine.
  
  There is no evidence whatsoever for annual boosters, but growing evidence for much less often, yet if you choose not have it they make you feel very guilty indeed. And I did read somewhere that the leptospirosis vaccine is only effective for 6 months, so for half the year you might not even be covered anyway! Unless someone can correct me.
