- 10 March 2020 03:09361605If you should get a phone call from a insurace company saying that as you have not not made a major call out for two years they are going to reduce the amount you have to pay,& want you to make this payment via credit or debit card please don't do it I signd up for it.But after thinking about it I decided to cancel,then came the problem the phone number just goes to voice mail,& states that they will get back to you, then I e-maild them but that keeps comming back.
so I have canceled it via the bank the firms name is

usually relating to washing machines. The 'insurance company' invariably don't know the model or even the manufacturer. It's a scam. They are not an insurance company.

I have not taken out an "extended warranty" on anything once I realised the whole idea is a complete waste of money, I must have saved a fortune over the last thirty years or so.
I never take any notice of any phone call that try to sell me anything or say I am 'owed money' or want me to take a survey. The last couple of these scam calls have been from a local number so everyone needs to be even more careful, I get great pleasure to tell them to go away in a very unladylike way.
