I may have missed it if there is a thread about this already, but I see in the Telegraph that Dover council has voted against giving the freedom of Dover to our Warden of the Cinque Ports, and Charlie Elphick has quite rightly commented. Does anyone have any information or views on this? Apparently there were 5 votes in favour and 12 are needed. I can't really see why anyone would vote against it.............
