  It was not that long ago a gravestone in Dover was rededicated for a young boy that met a sudden end on the platform of Dover Priory station. His former playmates were at the ceremony. People going to work on the seafront during the war were subjected to straffing runs by war planes, the same action that killed so many on the roads to Dunkirk, that makes Dover a conflict zone by any estimation.
