I have just returned from the incredible Warhorse Show, having read the book the show has a different ending, but the actions of the puppeteers in the horses is incredible.
The only tickets I could get this side of June were the £14 tickets, and although tucked in a corner they were very good seats while the normal seats are fetching £50.I would reccommend anyone wanting to go,do it and dont be put off by the cheaper tickets.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
War Horse is the best theatre I have seen in a long time. I wept, and I am not a softie!

A teensy bit off topic, but...
BBC tickets tell me there is to be a night to remember soon at Canterbury Cathedral. Apply here...

Tom, that looks lovely! Thank you for flagging it.
I have applied - fingers crossed!

I haven't seen it yet myself but have been told by many of my friends that it is one of the most powerful, imaginative and moving productions of the year - a must see, whatever age you happen to be.
Bern, I've applied too, I love Canterbury Cathedral and the acoustics there are phenomenal

Here's hoping . . . .

The show has a completly different ending to the book and from what I am told the film.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
I haven't seen the film and to be honest I am not keen to - I saw the theatre production and it was mesmerising, and I don't think I want to intrude onto the memory. It was perfection, for me.
