  Do you know know anyone aged 18 upwards that needs a job?
  
  Unfortunately it will be minimum wage to start with but depending on the right person this will change.
  
  The first duties are gardening but on wet days they will be working alongside me on the maintenance side of things learning lots of things such as legionella testing, emergency lighting and all that goes with running a large building.

  you may be inundated ian, sounds interesting work - learning things as he/she goes along.
  
  most jobs advertised locally have the dead end look about them.

  It is interesting Howard and very busy, as I say the right person will learn a lot from me helping them find future work should they choose to move on.

  Yes, good luck with that, it sounds like a great opportunity. It pays off to be creative when recruiting - I was desperate for a specialist doctor for some forensic health services in Essex and all standard options failed - the best result I had was from my professional network site Linked In. Creative thinking

  Depends on the person Bern as you know. Any one that is up to the mark will get more than my full support and will also reflect in wages at some point. and it is long term.
