    Being a councillor can't be that daunting or intellectually stretching...look at the bunch in power at present..not exactly the Stephen Hawkings of the political world. So any 'wannabees' don't be put off by those spouting forth above ..give it a go. It's passion and commitment that's required not one's ability to intrepret a balance sheet.They employ professionals for those areas.
