  Yes Howard, I have heard of this scheme and apparently it works extremely well across the board, particularly as you say in bad Ofsted report schools. I personally don't see any harm in it at all, if it encourages children to attend school regularly and study hard. After all there is nothing like a good education and if that's what it takes then where's the harm especially if some parents are not up to the job of making sure their child behaves well at school.
